Bronze and brass valve

Cast iron valve

Cast iron valves are common valves that are widely used in various applications of equipment used in building equipment, as well as in plants and ancillary equipment in various factories. A wide range of products are available, including gate globe chucks (check valves), ball valves, and strainers.
Ductile valve

Ductile valves have a wide operating pressure and temperature range and are more economical than cast steel stainless steel valves. KITZ group standardizes ductile valves used in water, air, gas, oil, etc. above.
Stainless & high alloy steel valve

Stainless steel valves have been used in chemical plants and other applications, but when corrosion resistance and durability are required for their application, they are incorporated into equipment and used.

Cast carbon steel valve

Valves made of cast steel are suitable materials for valves used in high temperature ranges.

This section introduces the operation principle of flowing and stopping the fluid of the gate valve.

Gate valve structure

1) This valve is called a gate valve because it contains a closure element called a gate that stops flow. The gate acts like a shutter that separates the inside of a house from the outside or a door that separates two rooms.
2) A disc housed in the gate valve’s body slides up and down at right angles to the direction of flow in the pipe, closing or opening the valve. Flow is blocked by using the wedge-lock effect of the valve’s disc.
3) Gate valves are suitable for on and off flow control. Turning the handle counterclockwise raises the disc, allowing flow through a straight passageway. Turning the handle clockwise lowers the disc, impeding flow.
