Carbotite seats and ball valves for high temperatures

Hard Graphite seated ball valves for high temperatures that use carbon for ball seats
Hard Graphite seated ball valve has developed for ball seats, which have been known that it is capable of withstanding a maximum operating temperature of 500°C.

Product Specifications

Base body 2-piece flange type
Wall thickness ASME B16.34 Class 150
Face to face ASME B16.10 Class 150
Pipe connection JIS B2220 10K/20K ASME B16.5 Class 150/300

Features and Specifications

  • Can be used at high temperatures up to 500°C. *
  • The flow direction can be used in both directions.
  • Since carbon is a good conductor of electricity, an antistatic mechanism is not required.
  • Low pressure loss. (Full bore type)
  • Side entry type makes disassembly and maintenance easy.
  • Even in the event of a fire, the sheet will not be destroyed by fire, so it essentially has a fire-safe mechanism.

* The maximum operating temperature for oxidizing fluids is 450°C.

Allowable sheet leakage

  • Valve with water pressure leakage “0” performance.
Gas pressure (air or nitrogen gas)*
    * Permissible leakage is specified for ANSI/FCI 70-2 class-VI.
  • High pressure gas certified product or when inspection pressure is specified
seat leakage (ml/min) = 21.75 × bore size (inch) × differential pressure (MPa)
    Test fluid: Air
